William Little also bought land from William Abbott in 1797. A dwelling house and store on land of Francis Little.

John Little owned land between 19 Wharf Lane and 29 Wharf Lane

Dolly Foot married Moses Carter Little and lived at 29 Wharf Lane. Son Edward marries Augusta Getchell from across the street. Their son Manly lived there as well.

John (Moses, Moses, George) left his father’s farm at an early age, began life as a teamster,and accumulated considerable property. He was called the handsomest man in town. He lived on the lower corner of Middle and State Streets, Newburyport, probate 16855 dated May 10 1799. (Francis, Alice, and Mary given money in will, William is executor)

Her second husband was Major Edmund Moores, by whom she had one son. She lived in the same house a period of eighty years. Mr. Little was a farmer and prominent citizen of Hampstead, where he served as selectman several years, and died 18 April, 1777. Children, born in Hampstead

The last twenty- five years of his life he resided in Boston, where he died 3 May, 1851.
