Daniel dies of insanity in 1845. He is the son of Stephen Bailey and Anna Carr (d. Daniel Carr and Betsey Chase) and nephew of Eunice Bailey who marries Simeon Chase Jr.. He is the brother of Betsey C. Bailey 3rd wife of Simeon Chase 3rd.
